Score system
Explanation of the score system.

For Field Archery circumstances are never the same.
Courses are never the same, the weather can vary, marked or unmarked courses and many more reasons make every tournament unique.
To be able to compare different tournaments a system is developed that determines the weight of the tournament based on the actual results of the tournament and the result of a reference group based on the results of the last three World Field Championships (WFC).
By comparing the results of the reference group during the tournament with the results of the same group during the WFC, the tournament will be assigned a weight (Percentage).
The WFC will be the standard and always is ranked (weighed) with a weight of 1.
If the average results of the reference group during a tournament is higher then the average result during the WFC the tournament will be assigned a weight less then 1. If though the results of the reference group is lower the tournament will be assigned a weight higher then 1.
The reference group is made up of archers of all categories (Men and Women, Barebow, Recurve and Compound) based all competitors of the last 3 WFC's.

Example:
A Tournament in Luxemburg is shot (24 targets, max. score 360).
The average score of the reference group during that tournament is 648.
The average WFC score of the same group is 654.
The weight of the tournament will be: 654/648% = 1,009259.

Archer-X shoots 300 points.
He/she will get as a result for the ranking:
300 * 1,009259 = 302,7777

The same archer shoots at a tournament in Germany (48 targets, max. score 720).
Tournament is weighed at 0,982435%.
Score: 615.
He/she will get as a result for the ranking:
615 / 2 * 0,982435 = 302,07108

Acher-X also competes during the WFC.
The WFC by default gets a weight of 1.
Score: 592.
He/she will get as a result for the ranking:
592 / 2 * 1= 296
